Makerspace Magic!

Today I unveiled the Makerspace to students and boy was it a hit! I explained to the kids that the space was intended for inventing, building, designing, writing, and everything in between. Connect Four, Stackable Cups, Legos, Bookmark design, and story creation were some of the top choices. I honestly believe it makes the media center even more of an enjoyable place that extends the learning experience. The kids participated in coding activities as well and really did a good job of working collaboratively as well as independently. I'm excited to see what future magic this Makerspace will reveal!
